Boy, it's a pretty day here in Central Ohio. Feels a lot like spring!!!
Today's Any Hero card is inspired OWH Sketch #215.
Bo Bunny Anthem; Bazzill admiral, Distress Ink core Darice embossing folder TPC Studio sentiment, heat embossed in Distress Ink walnut stain Recollections jute; Stampin' Up! brads Zots 3-D glue dots |
Kathryn's sample card was so pretty -- she did such a nice job with all these layers. As for me, I'm typically drawn to those sketches with fewer layers/elements. So, I tried to go with some neutral layers that added texture and dimension, but not pattern.
Must've been fairly successful... This got a thumbs up from hubby. :)
Parting Thoughts
Hoping to get in a late afternoon/early evening. So, will make this post short and sweet.
But, before signing off, just a quick reminder that Bobbi and I have a movie-quote-inspired challenge going on at Words 2 Scrap By that is open until March 21. And, Really Reasonable Ribbon is sponsoring this month's prize!
Have a great week! Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
I love your design paper and the blue really brings it together! I also like the burlap, it's so trendy...

ReplyDeleteI say it's a smashing success! Love the patterns and colors you chose and the simple sentiment is jazzed up by the layers you put around it. Glad you kept at this sketch!

ReplyDeleteI love the layers especially the burlap. Your pattern papers are very nice and bring a whole bunch to this entire card. I like the 4 brads on your sentiment piece. Have a good evening and a better week ahead.
ReplyDeleteI love that you used burlap as part of the layers! I would have never thought of that but maybe I will have to try it. Thanks for sharing your design!
