Hope everybody's having a great weekend. Can't believe we've gotten a couple more inches of snow today. At least it can look like spring in the menopause room.

Today's Cards
I have two cards -- one inspired by the CAS-ual Fridays challenge to make a card featuring something that extends off the card's edge(s) and the one inspired by OWH Sketch #211.

Parting Thoughts
Think I might have a few hours to work on a couple of mom cards. I was planning on sending in my box later in the month -- or even the beginning of next month. But, it sounds like OWH needs cards sooner than later. :)
A quick reminder about the "colourful" Olympic challenge going on at Words 2 Scrap By.
Finally, enjoy the rest of the weekend! Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
Two real great cards, Sybrina. Two great challenges taken care of here. I always smile when you mention the Menopause Room. I just think that is such a great name for a lady's craft room. Have yourself a fantastic week.
ReplyDeleteI just love how you always make AnyHero cards using the OWH Sunday sketch. Both cards are fantastic, but I really like the second one and the use of the jute. Great job!
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards...great use of that base paper on the second card...I have yet to use it, although I started once. tfs!!!
ReplyDeletePiggy backing Kristie on her comment about the AnyHero cards. Your first card with the stars is stunning. TFS.
ReplyDeleteAs always, the patriotic theme just works for me and countless others! These are both great, and those stars off the edge look pretty cool too!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards. I especially like the one with the stars.
ReplyDeleteLove the sketch card with the globe paper, so cool!
ReplyDelete:)
Both cards are great! I like the paper and the added brads on the second one :-)
ReplyDeleteSybrina, these cards are terrific! I really like what you did with the sketch. The burlap gives nice texture and the papers are beautiful. Thank you for playing!
ReplyDeleteLove your stars that go over the edge! Thanks for playing along with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
ReplyDeleteReally nice cards, Sybrina! So glad you got to play at CAS-ual Fridays! Those stars hanging off the edge look like they have a lot of energy to them : )
