MM12: You're Awesome in Dinosaur!

Hi, everyone! Welcome to a dinosaur-inspired edition of Monday Musings. Today's card was made using the new Stampin' Up adorable dinosaur stamp set.  :)

BasicGrey granola; SU early espresso; DI core paper
SU no bones about it images, heat embossed in vintage photo and walnut stain with clear zing powder
Sizzix birds and branches decorative strip; Paper Smooches leaves die; PS twine
inking in DI spiced marmalade and vintage photo
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zig 2-way pen

Truth be told, I really struggled with this little card -- pretty much throwing out everything I made on Saturday except for the banner and the card base. My big AHAs came when I switched out the blue for the green and stamped the dinosaurs on the lighter colored BasicGrey paper. Even then, the card felt a little flat until I added the DI rusty hinge cardstock. That added just the pop of color that the card needed.
